Honeywell has equipped its industrial label printer PD45 with a minimum of mechanical inner parts and a metal frame structure. As such, it as a robust, compact and slim appearance and is ideal for the various work areas in production, retail, logistics and healthcare. It creates labels at a maximum print speed of 200 mm/sec. at 203 dpi or 100 mm/sec. at 300 dpi.

The industrial print head supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer print modes and may be easily switched and replaced. Also, the patented dual-sensor positioning technology from Honeywell supports dynamic positioning, which ensures a minimum label height of 5 mm and a vertical positioning accuracy of 0.5 mm. Two sets of adjustable pressure bars and double media guides ensure accurate paper feeding and help avoid wrinkled ribbons and printing dirt.
