The Honeywell Xenon Ultra 1960h is the ideal 2D barcode scanner for the healthcare sector. It is based on the technology, performance and design of the well-known Xenon and Xenon XP scanners, but as an Ultra model it additionally impresses with fewer corners and edges. This not only ensures a chic, modern look, but also reduces the colonisation of germs. Remaining germs and bacteria are easily removed thanks to the antimicrobial housing. This was provided with silver ion additives during the production, which improve the resistance to frequent cleaning and at the same time inhibit the growth of germs and bacteria.
The green-dot aimer of the Xenon Ultra 1960h optimises scanning performance and increases scanning accuracy when capturing 1D/2D barcodes, Postal Digimarc, DotCode and OCR - even for barcodes that are difficult to read or damaged. In addition, various operating modes such as »Patient Do-not Disturb«, »Vibration« and »Scan lamp« are available to increase patient comfort. And if things get a little hectic, the Xenon Ultra 1960h is also robust against dust and water (IP52) as well as drop-proof from a height of 1.8 m.
